  • how do you generate uasset and uexp files to be compatible with project sicario merger

    want to make this mod project sicario compatible so that it gets added as a new paint slot for sk37 instead of replacing slot 06. i know you have to pack the mod as ProjectWingman/Content/Assets/Skins/<AIRCRAFT-NAME-HERE>/<YOUR-SKIN-NAME-HERE>, but how do you make/edit the usasset and uexp files?...

  • Troubleshooting Vortex failing to find PSM

    If you've just installed and enabled PSM with Vortex, turned on the PSM Integration in the Settings but are still getting errors about failing to find or run PSM, there's a few quick steps you can use to fix some of the more common issues.

    
    If you see the above error, it means Vortex has failed to detect where PSM was installed to. It's currently unclear why this happens, but we're looking into it. To quickly resolve it, head over to the dashboard, and click the three dots beside the tile for Project SIcario Merger in the Tools dashlet. Then, click the Edit entry in the menu.
    

    Finally, check that the path in the Target box points to the correct location of ProjectSIcario.exe. The location should be your game install directory (not the ~mods direc...

  • Using patches from Project Sicario Builder with PSM

    If you're already used to using the Project Sicario Builder to build merged mods for your game then PSM should seem very familiar! PSM is (to oversimplify) the "brains" of Project Sicario reworked to run locally on your PC.

    That doesn't mean you can't use both though! If you already have a merged mod built using the Project Sicario Builder in your mods folder then PSM should automatically detect and rebuild it for inclusion in your PSM-merged mod. 

    More importantly, if you want to use any of the patches available on the Project Sicario Builder app, you still can as well. Open the app and choose your patches as usual, but rather than clicking Start Build, click the new Save Preset button. You can then download a super-lightweight preset file that contains all the ...

  • Manually installing and using PSM

    While its easier to use with Vortex, you can still use PSM manually as well. Download the archive from the Files tab and extract the ProjectSicario.exe
     inside. You can actually have the merger "installed" wherever you like, but we recommend installing it to your game's install folder. Once it's in place, double-click the app file to run with the default options and it should create your merged mod....

  • Getting started with PSM for Vortex

    Vortex (with WingVortex 0.2.1+) has integrated support for merging mods with PSM. Just install PSM from the Files tab like any other mod, enable it and then turn on the PSM integration in Settings > Interface or using the toggle button on the Dashboard. Vortex will now automatically run PSM after each deploy and manage your merged mod like any other mod in your mods list.
